17. Are there payment plans available? Is there an enrollment fee?

Yes, UNC Charlotte offers Payment Plans at the beginning of the current semester for enrolled students.  There is a non-refundable enrollment fee of $55.00 due at the time of enrollment EACH Fall and Spring semester.  The enrollment fee for each summer session is $27.50.  Follow the instructions below to enroll in a payment plan.  Starting Fall 2016, a 10% down payment will be required at the time of enrollment.

  • Students login to my.uncc.edu and Authorized Users login through the authorized user link.
  • Under Financial Resources, select “Make a Payment" This will load the Student Accounts Payment/Billing suite
  • Select the "Payment Plan" tab at the top of the page
  • Select "Enroll in Payment Plan"
  • Select "Term"
  • Select "Continue"
  • Enter Payment Plan Amount.  Do not use special characters when entering the amount. 
    For example: If your amount due is $1,250.50, enter the amount as 1250.50.
  • Enter in 10% down payment amount, indicate the amount in the field provided.  Any amount in the 'down payment' box will be charged along with the enrollment fee.)
  • Select "Display Schedule"
  • Select yes or no to automatic draft.
  • Select "Continue"
  • Select payment method and enter in payment information.
  • Accept payment plan agreement to finalize enrollment.
  • Print out the confirmation page for your records.
