Kronos Workforce Ready User Interface Refresh Occurs Tonight - System Outage

Wednesday, December 2, 2015

The Kronos WorkForce Ready (WFR) User Interface initiative to improve usability of the product will be rolled out tonight, which will result in a system outage from 11:30 p.m. to 4:00 a.m.

Who's impacted? All current users. Users will not be able to clock in and out during this time.  Once the system is back up, users can submit a Timesheet Change Request to add a missed punch.

What is changing?  The look and feel of the menus and navigation in Kronos WFR will be different after the release is completed tonight. The overall functionality remains unchanged, but the improvements should make it easier to move around in the product.

Before and after pictures of the new User Interface, highlighting the most significant changes, are summarized in the “WFR Before and After UI” document in Kronos under Our Company | Documents.  Please take some time to review this document today.

To assist users with this transition, two open drop-in sessions with Kronos Implementation Team members are available in Atkins 125 on:

  • Thursday, December 3 from 9:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and

  • Friday, December 4 from 11:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

If help is needed, employees may drop in at any point during these dates/times.

Thank you for your patience as we commit to providing information and updating documentation to make this transition as smooth as possible for everyone.
