In July, a new version of the Travel and Complex Payments Department’s travel guide (Know Before You Go: General Guide for Travelers) was introduced. The guide is meant to be used as a condensed overview of commonly requested travel information.
Faculty and staff members should continue to refer to the Travel Manual for comprehensive travel guidance. The “Know Before You Go” guide may be helpful for faculty and those who are more removed from travel reimbursement processes on a daily basis
Travel resources are updated frequently, and the travel and complex payments sends out announcements via email distribution lists. Employees can visit the Travel and Complex Payments Department website to ensure they are referencing the latest versions of all resources.
The Controller’s Office plans to roll out more comprehensive changes to the travel payment processes during this fiscal year and seeks feedback or suggestions as it develops and implements these initiatives via email to email@example.com.
